Road to Fame: The Sims 4 Mod

Welcome back to Baggy Jumpers! Today I will be reviewing and sharing my experience of the Road to Fame mod, created by Sacrificial!
So to start of with, this mod can be downloaded above, just click on the creators name. This will then link you to his page, where you can also explore a range of the other mods he has made. To then install this mod, you have to use a ZIP file extractor and empty the contents of the file road_to_fame, make sure to empty all the files in this folder into your mods folder in the sims 4.
Right on with the game play!
So I created a new sim for this mod, meet Lelia Kirk!
I moved her into an apartment in San Myshuno, by herself and then decorated the apartment. Once all of this was completed she created her simstagram account, which is the starter of becoming famous in the Road to Fame mod.
When starting on simstagram, this enables your sim to then gain the skill of simstagram, and using different items on the list of actions then helps your sim to level up.
Level Two of Simstagram
Your sim can take photos manually (like when they take selfies on the phone normally)
Your sim can now respond to comments made on their profile (this can create a range of different moodlets, so far I have experienced sad, happy, playful and angry)
Your sim can gain more followers via the interactions now - the more you post the more followers you gain
Level Three of Simstagram
Your sims can now record videos of themselves using the front and the back of the phone camera - this is a great interaction to gain a lot of followers quickly
Your sim can now take photos with other people - I have found when using this interaction, it doesn't matter if your sim knows the other sim they are taking a photo with, it just happens
Your sim can once again gain more followers via the interactions now
Level Four of Simstagram
Your sim can now ask other sims to take photos of them
The camera on a tripod is gifted to you, which is placed into your sims inventory
Your sim can once again gain more followers via the interactions now
Level Five of Simstagram
Your sim can now post inspirational pictures onto their simstagram account
Your sim can once again gain more followers via the interactions now
Once I started leveling Leila up with her simstagram skills, I found it quite easy to use to interactions to quickly move up the levels. This may be due to their not being any negative moodlets or buffs for posting picture after picture continually.
I also used both the sim interaction and the camera tripod aswell.
After refilling her needs and a restful sleep, I then explored making friends for Leila and the interactions that came with this. One of them being taking selfies with them and asking them to follow her on simstagram. Leila quickly built up a following of 100,000 followers, and even though the levels are easy to go through, the gameplay and aspect of the mod are fantastic.
Leila also quickly found the negative aspects of building up a large following - with having drama with another sim! She also go a private invite to a secret party!
Leila also started the acting and modelling skill, quickly becoming rather good at it - both the modelling and the acting involved in it! She also got involved in the sadness involved in acting too!
Once i had again topped up her needs and sleep, Leila then continued to grow her followers, eventually hitting one million! She also got her first ever paid promotion - starting up at fame level one!
Once she had started on level one of fame, I held a meet and greet for her in the local park. When this is hosted, your sim will have paparazzi and fans flock around your sim. The meet and greet also has a range of goals for you to meet - much like most goaled events in the sims. The main goal is to sign autographs for five fans, but other goals include posing for the paparazzi, hugging fans, answering questions, taking selfies and giving exclusive interviews. Once all these goals are achieved your sim can earn up to §3,000 from one meet and greet, and it can also help to increase followers and fame levels. From this meet and greet, Leila levelled up to fame level 2
The next day, Leila met a new man and they became involved in a relationship. She also held another meet and greet and started to promote a lot more content on her simstagram - earning as much as §2,000 for each one - she slowly started to earn a lot of money as she was doing it. She also gained another level in her fame - level 3
The next day, her boyfriend moved in with her, she reached the top level of fame and earnt over §100,000
the two holding a meet and greet near her home. Unfortunately, due to bad security in her apartment block, many of her fans and paparazzi broke into her home and started snooping around! She politely asked them to leave, but it took a lot of security to make them finally leave! Due to this, Leila and her boyfriend moved into a new home, with plenty of security
To conclude my mod experience with Road to Fame I really enjoyed playing it, but also enjoyed to whole new aspect of gameplay. It added a new element to the sims and was fantastic to play with.
I would throughly recommend downloading this mod to play with - it is fantastic!
